1 part sour cream
2 parts whipping cream
Combine cream in saucepan and heat to 110 degrees. Place in bowl or crock and allow to stand at room temperature overnight, or until thickened. Refrigerate.
To start a new batch, place 1/3 cup of culture in glass measuring cup. Add whipping cream to fill cup. Repeat procedures for heating and standing.
French Cream will keep 2 weeks under refrigeration.
